Design Challenge
Care Earth Trust, supported by SwedBio set out to create an engaging and informative field guide for students in Tamil Nadu schools. The guide aimed to educate students about the biodiversity present in various environments such as school campuses, urban built areas, wetlands, and coasts. The challenge for the team was to develop a visually appealing and easy-to-understand guide that could effectively convey complex ecological concepts to young minds.
Solution
I worked with designers Anisha Murali and Denver Pereira and Seetha Gopalakrishnan from the Care Earth team to understand the bank of content created by them. I created over 40+ illustrations for the book which depicted various biodiverse environments, plant and animal species and field activities.
