report illustrations
Design Challenge
The brief was to create 7 illustrations for H.T. Parekh Foundation’s annual report. H.T. Parekh Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC), India's leading mortgage lender and a well - established financial conglomerate.
Solution
I worked with the lead designer to create 6 chapter illustrations and 1 cover illustration for the 2021 Annual Report. Each chapter covered different topics like education, healthcare, livelihoods and so on and the cover illustrations were introduced to add a visual break from the content heavy nature of the book. The report featured the impact of COVID and looked back on the difficult year that was. Hence the illustration style selected was minimal and black & white with spots of colour.
